What we collect and why

We use the business contact details you provide, correspondence and brief notes to answer enquiries, arrange conversations and assess whether the service is suitable. For preliminary business discovery, we may use public company and business contact information and record where it came from.

We rely on legitimate interests where appropriate: responding to business enquiries, understanding service fit and preventing unwanted contact. Where another lawful basis is required, it must be established before the relevant processing. We do not use this website to make automated decisions about you.

What not to send

Please do not send homeowner records, sensitive personal information, account passwords or payment details with a preliminary enquiry. Before a pilot needs customer information, the scope, instructions, security, access and data responsibilities must be agreed. Customer records are not uploaded through this website.

Who processes information

Correspondence is handled through Zoho Mail EU. OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure may process technical access logs to operate and protect the website. Information is not sold. Service providers may process information across borders under their applicable safeguards; contact us for details relevant to your enquiry.

Cookies and the illustrative walkthrough

We add no advertising or analytics tracking. Hosting may use necessary technical services. The quotation walkthrough stores fictional sample state in your browser so you can explore it; use “Restore sample data” to reset it. That example does not send email, SMS or WhatsApp messages. Keep real customer details out of it.

How long records are kept

Inactive discovery records are reviewed after 90 days and unnecessary information is deleted. A minimal objection record may be kept to prevent further unwanted contact. Records needed for an agreed engagement or legal obligations would have a separate retention schedule.

Your choices and rights

You can object to marketing, ask to access or correct your information, and request deletion, restriction or portability where those rights apply. Contact privacy@crestrelay.co.uk. We may need proportionate verification before acting on a request.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would welcome the chance to address a concern first.
